Tasting
This Merlot, with an intense garnet red colour, is accentuated with notes of the ripe fruits from the area. Its’ flesh brings forth a well roundedness with notes of quality tannins. This very smooth wine knows how to wait for another 2 to 3 years to be really enjoyed.
Soil
A trellised plot of Merlot, with origins from a well reasoned and thought about agricultural structure has a complete and rigorous documentation behind it. The soil is made up of a porous chalky-clay consistency, rich in rounded pebbles. It is situated on the ancient terraces of Wurmiennes de l’Aygues in the heart of the vineyards of Sérignan du Comtat.
